The Fundación Tres Culturas collaborates in the V Cross-border Meeting of Museum Professionals. Museums and AccessibilityThe event is being organised by the associations: Asociación de Museólogos y Museógrafos (AMMA) and Asociación Portuguesa de Museología (APOM); and which will take place on the 10th, 11th and 12th at the Portuguese Consulate and at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo.
The title of the meeting 'In the skin of the other' gives us the keys to understand the theme around which the programme and the different activities that will revolve around it will be articulated.
The accessibility has become a priority when dealing with any cultural project. For this reason, this year the meeting will focus on the public, on those users with special needs. And it will be these users who will tell us how the museum, the heritage sites and, in short, culture welcomes them and remembers them when programming exhibitions, activities or tours.
The Fundación Tres Culturas, which will host this meeting for the first time at its headquarters, will participate in the programme by presenting its experience of more than two decades of interaction with Morocco in the field of training and the implementation of interventions linked to the field of museums, exhibition spaces and cultural heritage.
