The Fundación Tres Culturas collaborates in the project '.Twenty thousand leagues on the Intercultural Sea' led by the Al Fanar Foundation which has been one of the projects chosen within the 'Network intercultural actions' call of the Foundation. Anna Lindh (Alexandria) to be implemented from 2016.

From the text of the novel, 'Extraordinary journeys through mysterious landsThe Foundation will bring important topics such as culture and identity, freedom, diversity, intercultural relations, gender roles and human rights to schools that request them, in the framework of an adventure that takes place in the times of Al-Andalus in different Arab countries, from Jerusalem to Tangiers.

The promotion of reading is one of the most important pillars of education, both formal and non-formal. Reading the book, which we present here, accompanied by the didactic guide, will allow adolescents to dismantle prejudices and stereotypes about the Arab world and understand that coexistence in diversity is not only possible but also enriching.

Sonia Nimr's novel 'Extraordinary Journeys in Mysterious Lands' is a splendid adventure in which, as the narrative unfolds, a whole series of issues crucial to the education and identity formation of young people are presented in an almost unnoticed way.
