A simple and interesting cinematic exercise in which Kiarostami addresses the problems faced by women in Iran. The story unfolds through a woman driving through Tehran, and her various passengers: her son, her sister, a prostitute and a girlfriend. The woman and child are really mother and child, and many elements are improvised. In addition, it was shot with two digital cameras mounted on the car, so visually it is simple but distinct.
