[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Najat_extranjera1The Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo continues its commitment to the promotion of Mediterranean authors and, in collaboration with the publishing house Destino and the Fundación José Manuel Lara, presents The foreign daughter, by Najat El Hachmi, a work currently under discussion in the Tres con libros book club.

In this novel-monologue, El Hachmi puts us in the shoes of a woman on uncertain ground: between two nationalities, between two languages, between reality and desire. A work originally written in Catalan that helps us to understand what it is to be ‘the other’.

She will talk about all this and her creative process at Tres Culturas with the writer and journalist Eva Díaz, in a meeting that is part of the activities to commemorate International Women's Day. After the talk between the authors, Najat El Hachmi herself will read an excerpt from her book to the musical accompaniment of Mar Gabarre's harp, Müsgo.
