The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation is participating in the 3rd Andalusia Solidarity Forum, organised in Cordoba by the Andalusian Fund of Municipalities for International Solidarity (FAMSI) from the 14th to the 16th of this month.
In this sense, the Foundation has collaborated with the organisation of the concert by the group Hamid Ajbar, on 15 June at 21.00 in the Plaza del Potro. The group Hamid Ajbar Flamenco Fusion was born in the city of Granada with the idea of delving into the richness of the traditional music of Al-Andalus, which is Arab-Andalusian and flamenco, showing the similarities of both musical styles, whose origins come from the same place, but always respecting their differences. The Hamid Ajbar Flamenco Fusion project is made up of some of the best musicians from both shores, with an extensive professional career, and with the desire to transmit their love for music and their respect for traditions.
The Fundación Tres Culturas is organising this event together with FAMSI, Cordoba City Council and the Ministry Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in charge of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs.
In addition, the coordinator of activities of Fundación Tres Culturas, Antonio Chaves, will speak on 16 June at the Panel of experiences and dialogue. Innovative models of cooperation between countries and regionsfrom 11.00 to 13.15 hours. This panel is presented as a space for the presentation of initiatives to exchange experiences and innovative practices that can nurture Andalusian cooperation, sharing initiatives that are being developed in the target countries of our cooperation. The aim is to share success factors and key factors of diverse and less traditional initiatives in the field of cooperation.
