Synopsis
Alalá is a documentary that shows a social portrait of a marginalised neighbourhood in Seville through a flamenco school for children. A space where stories of opportunity, coexistence and art emerge, based on flamenco, a space of knowledge, transformation and freedom. Alalá' (Alegría in the Caló language) shows us the social portrait of a popular Seville neighbourhood that only comes to public light in the pages of events, and which in recent years has been transformed into a multicultural space, in which, despite the difficulties in which they live, they never lose their joy. It shows a music school that uses flamenco as an educational language, born from the efforts of a renowned guitarist, Emilio Caracafé, who, together with other artists, offers us his personal vision of this neighbourhood, where flamenco is an element that generates opportunities and transforms society.
