The Fundación Tres Culturas and the Centro Andaluz de las Letras are organising the presentation of the professor's latest work in Malaga. Javier de LucasThe EU is a pioneer in the field of migration and human rights, Mediterranean: the shipwreck of Europe (Tirant lo Blanch).

In recent years, the Mediterranean has become the most dangerous border in the world. Thousands of human beings lose their lives in its waters, not only immigrants in search of better working conditions and a better life, but also, and increasingly so, people fleeing different forms of persecution. For this reason, Javier de Lucas tries to offer elements of analysis and proposals to prevent the European Union itself, its principles and values, from being shipwrecked in this tragedy. Juan José Téllez, Director of the Centro Andaluz de las Letras (CAL), will be present to talk to the author.
