The Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo, the Aid Children of the World Association and the Asociación Internacional Humanismo Solidario are organising a solidarity concert in favour of the Dar Tika shelter in Tangiers. This initiative, which combines music and poetry, will revolve around a poetry anthology and music CDs. Door of hope. Solidarity poetry (Aid Children of the World Association).
Admission to this event will be free, but attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the musical and literary work, so that the profits from these sales can be used entirely to support the Dar Tika shelter. This is a centre for social intervention, psychosocial and educational support for street girls in a situation of neglect and lack of protection.
Door of hope. Solidarity poetry is an initiative in which 23 Andalusian poets and more than 50 musicians have participated to conceive a poetic anthology and a double CD containing poems sung and performed by Andalusian singer-songwriters (set to music by Juan Alberto Gómez), as well as poems read in the poets' own voices and accompanied by classical music composed by David Gutiérrez and the Chamber Orchestra of Málaga.
Free admission until full capacity is reached.
