The Standing Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Fundación Tres Culturas, meeting on 31 March 2015, has appointed José Manuel Cervera Gragera as the new managing director of this foundation.
Born in Huelva in 1953, José Manuel Cervera holds a degree in Philosophy and Arts from the University of Seville, as well as a diploma in Senior Management of Social Institutions from the San Telmo Institute. He has been a councillor on Seville City Council (1979-1983 and 1991-1999), company director, professor of Cooperative Consultants and member of the Social Council of the University of Seville.
He headed the Coordination and Studies Unit of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Andalusian Regional Government from 2002 to 2004, when he was appointed Director General of Andalusian Studies. From April 2008 he headed the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Andalusian Regional Government and a year later he held the same position in the Cabinet of the then Third Vice-President of the Government and Minister of Territorial Policy, Manuel Chaves. Since 2012, he has been advising and consulting on leadership, strategy, communication and business development.
