The Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo is collaborating in the 39th Cádiz Book Fair with an intergenerational meeting of Mediterranean poets, José María Micó and Lucía El Asri, who will discuss their most recent works and explore their poetic perspectives on Saturday 6 July at 8.30 pm.
The presentation will consist of a conversation between Lucía El Asri and José María Micó, which will be based on El Asri's literary debut, Sisters of noise (Olé Libros, 2023), which focuses on the exploration of multiple identities and the crossing of cultural, social and personal borders. After the conversation, there will be a poetry recital by both poets and we will close with poetry made song by the duo MartayMicó. A combination of poetry and music that connects the Mediterranean tradition from multiple angles.
