The Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo will open the exhibition, on 5 March at 20:00h, the exhibition Marrakech WalkscapesThis is the result of the work of the students of the 2nd year of Image and Audiovisual Project and Show Production at the IES Pablo Neruda (Huelva) and Néstor Almendros (Tomares, Seville).
Marrakech Walkscapes is a project that begins with a trip to Marrakech and the Ourika Valley by students from the above-mentioned Image and Sound centres, and which, taking as a reference the creations of contemporary artists who base their works on 'drifting', aims to translate the travel experience of a group of boys and girls to a city unknown to them into photographic and video works in which concepts such as walking, wandering and strolling become the essence of the creations.
The resulting works form a poetic cartography of the city and the environments visited, a reflection on the places, spaces and life that make them up.
Through this collaboration, the creative work of the Image students is supported and disseminated in an exhibition that will be open to the public until 26 March.
