"Due to the large number of applications received at the Three Cultures Foundation to participate in this edition of the Ibn Battuta Interculturality School (Rhila-Morocco stage), we are forced to modify the final deadline for receipt of applications, the new deadline for receipt of applications being 28 November 2014 at 14h (Spanish peninsular time). We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in this initiative and encourage you to continue participating in the Foundation's activities.

The Three Cultures Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry in charge of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs, is once again organising a new edition of the Ibn Batuta School of Interculturality in Morocco. The 2014 programme, which is entitled Al Andalus: the paths of memorywill seek to highlight, through lectures and thematic visits to places and sites of high heritage value in the Moroccan cities of Tangier, Tetouan and Chefchaouen, the common legacy of both shores of the Mediterranean, which are united under the common paradigm of Al Andalus.

In this year's 2014 edition, 40 participants, Andalusian and Moroccan university students aged between 18 and 23, will take part in a four-day educational itinerary (from 5 to 8 December), during which they will meet with young members of Moroccan youth associations in order to exchange experiences and reflections of mutual interest and lay the foundations for future common lines of work. In short, the aim is to build bridges and forge the foundations of a new Mediterranean citizenship based on the principles of respect, tolerance and common coexistence. And all this by using the best tools at our disposal: knowledge, experience and words.

The deadline for receiving applications will be open from today until 3 December inclusive. Those interested should send the documentation requested in the call for applications to the following e-mail address: achaves@tresculturas.org and meet the following requirements:

- Be an Andalusian citizen, or a Moroccan resident in Andalusia.

- Be enrolled in one of the Andalusian public universities.

- Be between 18 and 23 years of age.

- Have communicative competence in the French language.

- Have experience in volunteer activities.
