At the Fundación Tres Culturas we firmly believe that knowledge is the best tool for building a more plural, respectful of differences, tolerant, supportive and just society. That is why we dedicate Tuesdays in June to exploring the many ways of inhabiting the world: diverse cultures, silenced historical facts, distant sounds, deep beliefs and different views on life.

SENEGAL. A DREAM TO AND FROM
Marcos Gualda | Spain, Senegal | 2023 | 88 min.
Synopsis: The film narrates the journey that Rocío, accompanied by the flamenco guitarist Canito and the Senegalese musician Birane Wane, undertakes to Senegal to fulfil her dream of becoming involved in international cooperation projects. The documentary underlines the importance of making cooperation between nations visible, of fighting for the respect of human rights, of building cultural bridges and of promoting the fusion between Senegalese music and flamenco as a synonym of wealth and spiritual growth.
