The Foundation resumes its regular film programming in September with a collaboration with the Cypriot and Greek Film Festivala festival that was born in 2018 and has established itself as an essential meeting point for cinephiles and auteur film lovers, with an ever-increasing international projection. This edition, in the format of a summer cinema, will take place in an exceptional setting: the Andalusian gardens of the FoundationThe setting invites you to enjoy open-air cinema in a unique and evocative atmosphere.
In line with its mission to foster cultural dialogue, the Foundation dedicates this new season to bringing emerging cinema from the Eastern Mediterranean to Spanish audiences, promoting new voices and unique narratives that invite them to discover the richness of contemporary Greek and Cypriot cinema.

Synopsis: A road comedy that follows the emotional and funny journey of two strangers with opposite personalities, from Alicante to Greece, travelling through various countries and cultures, while facing personal conflicts, language barriers and different ways of seeing the world.

🗣️ Presentation of the exhibition by Anna Éllina and Constantinos Kontonikolas Anna Ellina, founder and director of the Cypriot and Greek Film Festival, is of Greek Cypriot origin and creator of the festival from scratch. He combines his background in literature and his experience in audiovisual production to promote Hellenic culture and intercultural dialogue, establishing important institutional collaborations since 2011.
Constantinos Kontonikolas, artistic director of the Barcelona Cypriot and Greek Film Festival since 2024, combines 17 years of experience in technology with a deep passion for film. Originally from Thessaloniki, he has attended major international festivals and also has a background in music journalism, bringing a diverse and committed cultural vision to the festival. 📽️ Screenings will begin when lighting conditions permit.
