In the framework of the European Heritage Days (EHD) 2025The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation joins this great international celebration of cultural heritage with a unique proposal: "Discovering Morocco through its architecture".The museum offers a programme of themed guided tours that takes visitors on a journey through the history and essence of Islamic architecture, with a special focus on architecture with Andalusian roots, a living legacy that connects the shores of the Mediterranean.
The Conference, coordinated in Spain by the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute (Ministry of Culture) and promoted at European level by the Council of Europe and the European Commission, has as its slogan for this edition "Heritage and Architecture: windows to the past, doors to the future".. A slogan that invites us to reflect on how buildings are constructed memory, witnesses to the past and, at the same time, spaces open to new uses and meanings.
The Fundación Tres Culturas proposes a tour of one of the most singular symbols of dialogue between cultures: the Hassan II Pavilion, the headquarters of the institution and an emblematic architectural work which, since its inauguration for Expo 92, has consolidated its position as a cultural bridge between Spain and Morocco.
During the month of November, dedicated thematically to Morocco, the following events will be organised three guided tours -days 6, 11 and 24 November at 6.30 p.m.- which will allow visitors to discover not only the history of the Hassan II Pavilion, but also the principles that define Islamic architecture.
With this initiative, the Fundación Tres Culturas offers a unique experience of learning and enjoyment, in which architectural heritage becomes a window to the past and a door to the future, as proposed by the European motto. A journey without leaving Seville, but loaded with the light and heritage of Morocco.
