The Tres Culturas Foundation kicks off the year with one of its flagship projects to promote Mediterranean literature: Three with books, a reading club with 17 years of history, which this time opens the course with a work dedicated to comics.
This project begins in 2026 with a reading full of humanity and solidarity, which will include a virtual meeting with the author and the club's readers next month. January 21st at 17:30 hours.
The chosen reading is When the stars shine, an extraordinary work by the American author Victoria Jamieson, inspired by the real life of Omar Mohamed, which sensitively and with commitment tells a story of resilience, friendship and hope. The club will have a batch of 30 copies for collective loan, thus facilitating the participation of interested readers.
This graphic novel was presented at the first edition of COMICMED, held last year in Málaga, and has become one of the most outstanding works in the recent landscape of social comics.
