The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation, in collaboration with the Cartaya Municipal Public Libraryhas set up a reading club in this town as part of the Three with books for young people project. For the last two months, the club has been reading Little Brother (Blackie Books), the book in which Ibrahima Balde provides the voice and Amets Arzallus Antia picks up his story and transforms it into words, narrating the journey that led him to cross the Sahara and the Mediterranean in search of his brother.
On 23 January, at 11:00 a.m., a virtual meeting will take place with Amets Arzallus in the Cartaya library, with the participation of students from IES Rafael Reyes and IES Mapi Valle, as part of an activity that seeks to enrich their educational experience through shared reading and intercultural dialogue.
