Three Cultures Foundation.
6 and 7 November.
The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation will collaborate in a meeting to exchange educational experiences between Morocco, Italy and Spain, with special attention to the situation of unaccompanied immigrant minors, in the framework of a project financed by the European Union, Cross-border education strategies, to be held at the Foundation's headquarters on 6 and 7 November.
This project, which covers the Moroccan regions of Béni Mellal, Khouribga, Tangier and Nador, the Italian regions of Turin, Cuneo and Verona, and the Spanish regions of Madrid and Valencia, will involve the Association for Cooperation for Peace (ACPP), the Académie Régionale de l'Éducation et de la Formation (AREF), the Fondation Zakoura Education, Ahlam and the Association Thissaghnasse pour la culture et le développement (ASTICUDE).
The main objective of the project is to prevent clandestine migration of adolescents and young people from 8 to 18 years of age, which takes place in highly vulnerable conditions due to their illegal status and total dependence on intermediaries who are not known and have no capacity to guide them in the new social context. During the meeting, working sessions will be held between representatives and actors in the field of education from the different participating countries. At the same time, meetings will be held with the most relevant institutions in order to draw up a document of conclusions, which will ultimately be used as a basis for the development of the project.
