The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation pre-selects the Spanish candidates for the next 2017-2018 expeditions to the desert of Oman within the framework of the Connecting Cultures project. This initiative, which began in 2014, has so far carried out 18 expeditions made up of groups of 18 young people from East and West who live together in the desert for five days, participating in activities that promote the values of diversity, respect and common learning. The project is more necessary than ever to help avoid stereotypes through dialogue, identifying commonalities and appreciating differences.
Connecting Cultures is supported by UNESCO, the Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, the Qaboos Cultural Centre and the MBI Al Jaber Foundation.
Those young Spaniards interested in participating in this selection, whose final candidate will be chosen by the Connecting Cultures organisation in Oman, must send the required documentation before 2 November 2017 to the Fundación Tres Culturas in accordance with the terms and conditions of the published call for applications.
