The work that the Assembly for Cooperation for Peace-Andalusia has been undertaking in Jordan since 2016, in association with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) and with the support of the Seville City Council, to help alleviate the devastating effects that the war in Syria is having on the civilian population, can be seen in this photographic work by Tifas VH (Teófilo Valente Hernández).
Thanks to the intervention of Humanitarian Action, co-financed by the Directorate-General for Special Intervention Areas – Development Cooperation of the Seville City Council, the Assembly of Cooperation for Peace-Andalusia has helped to improve access to water and basic sanitation and hygiene facilities for people with disabilities and those living in chronic poverty, both among the Syrian refugee population and the Jordanian population who have hosted them in their communities.
In the Irhaba community, in northern Jordan, Tifas VH has recorded the testimonies of these people in order to reflect the human dimension of the Syrian refugee crisis.
