In the framework of the project Andalusia, land of diversityThe Fundación Tres Culturas offers this show with which it inaugurates the Month of Cultural Diversity, a proposal that brings together the percussion of tambourines and darbukas from different countries around the Mediterranean basin with the Andalusian castanets and the dance of Bettina Castaño.
David Hornillo's singing of great purity is seen in the soul 'Al Tarab' of Mohammed Amine Tailassane's Arabic singing. In addition, the elegance and refinement of the Turkish santur and the Arabic oud through which the dance glides and wanders, glimpsing the forms of Al-Andalus, occupies a privileged place in this montage.
Bettina Castaño, with a consolidated career and experience, adapts the forms of traditional flamenco dance with a great sense of naturalness. Her dance synthesises the explicit exoticism of flamenco; the strength of her rhythm, marked by cadenced but firm waist movements and the brio of her body, suggests the pulse of life itself.
