On 4 May at the Fundación Tres Culturas there will be a theatrical performance of the play Le médicine malgré lui (The doctor who beat him up) by Molière, adapted and staged by Abdelwahed Mouadine.
A comedy-farce with a carefully designed set design that will change as the scenes unfold, featuring actors such as Mostafa Hnini, Hafida Khouyi, Fatima Boujou, Habib Lesfar, Hanane Khaldi, Farid Baka, Abderrazak Koutni and Abdelwahed Mouadine.
The play tells the story of Sganarelle and Martina, a married couple who are in the habit of quarrelling because he is a lazy and presumptuous woodcutter. So one day when two servants are looking for a doctor to relieve the master's daughter of a strange illness, Martina decides to play a practical joke on her husband by telling them that they can find a doctor in the countryside who, in order to get him to confess his knowledge, must be beaten up.
