The INTREPIDA project of Fundación Tres Culturas resumes its appointments with Mafalda MilhõesThe first Portuguese bookshop specialised in children's literature, called O Bichinho de Conto, where you can read with all five senses since it opened in 2003..
It is a bookshop located in a rural environment, in a country estate that allows you to live the reading experience in a truly beautiful setting. The bookshop is a large container of cultural activities specialising in children's books: meetings with authors, storytelling sessions, presentations, one-off or continuous educational workshops, exhibitions and school activities. http://www.obichinhodeconto.pt/
Mafalda Milhões, who will be accompanied by the oral storyteller Alicia Bulubú, is mainly an illustrator, but she is also an editor, bookseller, author and reading mediator. She trained in Graphic Arts in Tomar and is one of the driving forces behind the publishing project O Bichinho de Conto. In 2014 she was awarded in Spain with the prize Gourmand Award in the category Best Illustrated CookBook with the book Maruxa.
This activity is part of the INTREPIDA project (Intenationalisation of Women Entrepreneurs from Spain and Portugal towards Integration, Development and Partnerships), aimed at boosting the internationalisation of companies managed by women in the regions of Andalusia, Algarve and Alentejo. The project is financially supported by the European INTERREG POCTEP 2014-2020 programme.
