The Observatorio de la Islamofobia en los Medios (Islamophobia in the Media Observatory) is one year into its analysis of the coverage of Islam in six national newspapers: El País, The World, La Razón, La Vanguardia, eldiario.es y 20 minutes. The statistics from this study confirm the indicators that pointed to an alarming situation (nearly 70% of the news published are Islamophobic).
One of the Observatory's lines of work, in addition to collaborating directly with the media, has been to highlight the actions, documentation and other projects that already exist on this issue or other related ones, with a commitment to inclusive journalism.
