The Fundación Tres Culturas joins Seville's Noche en Blanco with a concert by the singer Leila and her band, at 8.30 p.m. in the beautiful Pabellón Hassan II, which was the Moroccan Pavilion during Expo'92 and is now the headquarters of Tres Culturas.
Born in Oujda, Layla Shakir grew up in eastern Morocco, an area of great cultural richness. A music lover since childhood, Layla grew up in a conservative environment. At the age of 15 she recorded her first single and in 2015 she formed Snitrahis first band, with whom he toured in concert.
True to herself, this artist is a woman whose voice dances between fragility and power, creating a world through a mix of original and intelligent songs in English, Darija and literary Arabic. Her catchy and accessible music is a harmonious blend of the different styles of her region where she marries gracefully and lightly her influences of rock, reggae and blues.
