The Fundación Tres Culturas offers, within the activities of the Month of Morocco, the concert of the group Lazywall. This band has performed at the most prestigious festivals, including SXSW in Austin (USA) and Garorock (France). In Morocco, they even participated three times in the 'Bulevard Festival'.
Lazywall was formed in 2003 in Reading, England, by the three Anegay brothers: Monz, Nao and Youssef, who chose classic rock as their main influence. The band later began to make a name for themselves and released their first EP 'Primal Tapes' in 2006, which was recorded in Chicago with Nirvana producer Steve Albini. After returning to Morocco, Lazywall released their first album 'Apoptosia' in 2009.
Lazywall combines his music with Arabic melodies and uses both modern electronic instruments and more traditional ones such as the Oud and Darbouka. Lazywall's discography consists of four albums: 'Apoptosia' (2009), 'Restart' (2010), 'Aporia's Bane' (2012) and 'Square Minds in Round Heads' (2015). Their fifth album, 'The Hundredth Monkey"', was released in October 2017.
