The one who is worthy of being loved, published by Cabaret Voltaire and translated into Spanish by Lydia Vázquez Jiménez, is an epistolary novel with autobiographical echoes. Ahmed, 40, writes a letter to his mother, who died five years ago, to settle unfinished business and finally tell her about his homosexuality.
The first missive is followed by three others, in which Taia describes the relationships that the protagonist has had with different characters, especially with the man he loved passionately and who took him to France.
This book will be presented by the author himself on Tuesday 29 January. He will be joined by one of our most beloved authors, Najat El Hachmi.
