The project INTREPIDA invites you to get to know the inside of companies, their creation, their spaces and their services. The March events include an interesting guided tour of the Matilde Coral dance school in the Triana neighbourhood. There, the beginnings of the school will be recounted and the classes will be visited while teaching is taking place. At the end of the tour, a dance teacher will be responsible for teaching the basics of the rumba.
Established in 1970, the teaching follows the approach of its founder Matilde Coral, whose objective has always been to transmit and preserve the Andalusian dance school of Seville, declared of cultural interest in 2012. The awards won by the school include the National Teaching Prize, in addition to the appointment as custodian of the Sevillian dance school.
The expenses arising from this visit are entirely covered by the INTREPIDA project, which receives financial support from the Interreg POCTEP programme for cross-border cooperation between Spain and Portugal. Places are limited and will be allocated in strict order of registration by clicking on this lien.
