As part of the Mercat de Nadal de Sant Jordi, in Barcelona, Belén Rubiano will talk about her book Rialto, 11, Shipwrecks and wrecks of a bookshop (Libros del Asteroide, 2019) with literary critic Anna María Iglesia.
The conversation will be held via videoconference. Belén Rubiano will be speaking from the José Saramago Municipal Public Library in Mairena del Aljarafe, where there will be participants from various reading clubs in the province of Seville who will have read the book. Anna María Iglesia will also be in Barcelona, at the Sant Jordi de Nadal, one of the most important literary events of the year.
At Rialto, 11, Shipwrecks and wrecks of a bookshop, Belén Rubiano (Seville, 1970) talks about her devotion to books and how one can risk any security to pursue a dream. This is a partial memoir in which the author recounts her experience as a bookseller over ten years in Seville.
