The Fundación Tres Culturas resumes the Cátedra al-Andalus project in January with a special session that includes a screening of the documentary film The tomb of Boabdil and a subsequent round table discussion in which Manuel Pimentel and Virginia Luque will talk about the figure of the last Nasrid king of Granada.
The location of Boabdil's tomb remains unknown. There is historical research based on written sources. However, at the same time, archaeological research has been proposed to locate it definitively. Arqueomania devoted a programme to locating the historical figure of Boabdil and the great dilemmas and conflicts he had to face. History and archaeology meet in the ongoing research, a good example to be rigorously disseminated to the general public through quality television.
