The Fundación Tres Culturas, in the framework of its European project INTREPIDA plus, is organising the presentation of Normal life (Seix Barral) by Dulce Maria Cardoso, on Wednesday 28 October at 7 pm. An essential date with the best Portuguese literature.
In this new event, the journalist and translator Pilar del Río will talk online from the central courtyard of Tres Culturas with Dulce Maria Cardoso, considered "the most important writer of her generation" (Público), about her most ambitious and universal novel, "an X-ray of the family in our time and the challenges it faces", in her own words. Three women from three different generations of the same family reflect how social, sentimental and family relationships have been transformed at the turn of the century.
This book will be the new reading of the reading clubs Tres with books from the Fundación Tres Culturas, the Centro de documentación María Zambrano del Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer, La Maloka Feminista Berlín and Rede de Bibliotecas Municipais de Loures (Biblioteca Municipal Ary dos Santos).
