The Fundación Tres Culturas continues with this new section with the aim of offering some suggestions of outstanding publications in the catalogue of the Fatima Mernissi Library, which we hope will serve to enrich our users' journey through the history and cultures of the Mediterranean.
In this issue, we focus on the work of the Bulgarian filmmaker and writer of Sephardic origin Angel Wagenstein, whose work has been distinguished, among others, with the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for the film The Star of Davidfor which he wrote the screenplay, or the Jean Monet Prize for European Literature for his novel Goodbye, Shanghai.
