Throughout history, many peoples, cultures and religions have settled in the Iberian Peninsula. The presence of Jewish communities until 1492 left an important cultural, gastronomic and architectural mark... in many places. In addition to their customs and religion, the Sephardic Jews developed their social life alongside the Christian and Arab communities. September's Film Tuesdays invite us to get to know and delve into our past through this palpable heritage in many places in our country: streets, squares, words, surnames, gastronomy, smells, architecture... An open door to a culture that is still alive today.

The documentary The roads of Sepharad is a proposal for a journey through the most outstanding Jewish quarters in Spain. A tour that invites us to discover 22 cities that in the past were home to Jewish communities, whose traces extend over more than a thousand years. Travelling to any of these cities is an experience that allows you to enjoy their history, art, traditions and unique gastronomy, while strolling through the narrow streets or visiting a synagogue or the museums that strive to preserve this legacy.
