On the afternoon of 19 October, the Three Cultures Foundation had the honour of receiving His Excellency Mr Majid Al Suwaidi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, as part of his visit to Andalusia, coinciding with a very significant date for the Muslim community, the Mawlid an-Nabi, the birthday celebration of the Prophet Muhammad.
Following a visit to the Hassan II Pavilion, the headquarters of the Foundation, the ambassador attended a working meeting alongside Rogelio Velasco, Minister of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities; Enrique Millo, Secretary General for Foreign Action; Rosario Alarcón, Director of Andalucía Global; and Concha de Santa Ana, Director of the Three Cultures Foundation, who presented the ambassador with a facsimile edition of the Quran of Cútar, discovered in this Malaga town in 2003 and restored by the Regional Government of Andalusia together with the Three Cultures Foundation.
