On Wednesday 24 November 2021, the day will take place on Andalusia, a model neighbourhood in the European Unionorganised by the General Secretariat for External Action and to be held at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo.

This event is part of the initiative Spanish Framework for Citizens' Consultations on the Future of Europe The project was launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation together with the Autonomous Communities and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).

This conference is a response to the commitment of the Andalusian Regional Government to participate in the joint effort to ensure that Spain has a common position on the Future of Europe Conference.

The conference is based on the European Neighbourhood Policy, with the aim of reflecting on the Mediterranean agenda and the future of this European policy, which is particularly relevant for border regions. It will be attended by different experts in the field of European neighbourhood from academic, institutional and civil society spheres.

Andalusia, a geographical link between Europe and North Africa, has always been aware of its role in the Mediterranean and as a unique bridge between cultures. Proof of this is the intense cooperation relations with Northern Morocco that Andalusia has been developing for years in all areas of activity. These relations have been weaving an institutional, economic and cultural network that has made these territories a reference in cooperation.

To attend it is necessary to register in advance at THIS LINK.
