MOSLAH KRAIEM, 2013 / TUNISIA / Language: Arabic with English subtitles / 123min.
Death visits Gianni, an elderly and senile Italian living in a nursing home, disguised as a journalist. Before carrying out her mission, she gives Gianni enough time to tell her his story, written down in a manuscript. Death seeks to unravel the mystery behind a sentence the Italian left in his memoirs: "Everything is to be found in Bab El Fella". Gianni refuses at first, but finally agrees and begins to tell him the story, leaving him in suspense until the end. But the retelling proves too much of a strain on his heart and Gianni dies of cardiac arrest. Will he finish his story or will he take the mystery with him forever?
