The Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo Foundation, through its reading club Tres con libros, continues to champion authors from the Mediterranean. They previously did so in 2012 with Barcelona-born writer Carlos Zanón and his work ‘No llames a casa‘ (RBA), and continued in 2014 with the reading of his novel ’Yo fui Johnny Thunders‘ (RBA), for which he was awarded the Dashiell Hammett Prize in 2015. This year, 2016, we want to continue supporting the already well-established and recognized work of Carlos Zanón. To this end, the Tres con libros reading club will analyse his latest novel, ’Marley estaba muerto’ (RBA), in which Zanón brings together his unique Christmas tales. These are 14 dark, interwoven stories with a strong emotional impact.
