The Fundación Tres Culturas bids farewell to the Cátedra Al-Andalus project until January with a special session that includes the conference 'The Alhambra, abstract beauty' and a concert by Sound Routes. Sounds for rapprochement, a female string quartet made up of two Andalusian musicians, an Iranian and a Macedonian.
The high degree of knowledge achieved during the Kingdom of Granada resulted, among other notable achievements, in the construction of the Alhambra, a building that is part of the so-called architecture of Nasrid power. In an unparalleled creative exercise carried out by architects, engineers, geometricians, tracists, poets and craftsmen, the construction of this palace sought to recreate all the beauty of the world, creating the unusual forms that are the basis of the abstract beauty of the Alhambra in Granada.
The lecture will be given by Rafael Pérez Gómez, doctor and lecturer at the University of Granada and member of the Advisory Board of the Publications Service of the Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife.
