The 'Three Cultures in Family' cycle invites us today on an exotic journey with The jellyfish tamerA journey through Europe from Andalusia to Transylvania to learn about the stories, instruments and music of the gypsy people. Our ears will dance to swing manouche, csardas, Kelzmer music and other almost forgotten melodies...
This will be performed by two versatile performers: Elena Jiménez (clarinet, accordion, metallophone, Moldavian kával, flute, Hungarian furulyas, horn, piano, bells and hurdy-gurdy) and Manuel Méijome (acoustic guitar, manouche guitar, classical guitar, 5 and 6-string banjos, bandurria, tambura and Hungarian zither).
The Foundation has launched this special programme, which includes storytelling shows and concerts on several Saturdays and Sundays in November and December, with the aim of offering families a new way of rediscovering Three Cultures.
