The Fundación Tres Culturas presents a series of documentaries on great Andalusian figures who have left a legacy worth remembering.
With this cycle we aim to highlight the life and work of some of the Andalusian intellectuals, to support the production companies that are committed to disseminating this legacy and at the same time to recognise the great work of Canal Sur Radio and Canal Sur Television in their commitment to the dissemination of documentary films, their support for the Andalusian audiovisual industry and their contribution to its development in Andalusia.

This is the story of a man and a dream. It is the story of how an icon of Seville, recognised worldwide as one of the most interesting works of architecture, was built. It is the story of Aníbal González and the Plaza de España.
There was a time when a series of chosen people transformed its physiognomy and created symbols of identity in a millenary city. Since then, Seville has an outstanding debt with Regionalism. No justice has been done, nor deserved recognition of the style that currently confers the very image of the city, the fabric that envelops its sublime monumentality. And it was Aníbal González who captained this movement, which will link perfectly with the Sevillian feeling, establishing itself as its style par excellence. Seville would not be the same without the work of Aníbal, and his constructions are now part of universal history in the form of a legacy that today is admired all over the world.
Leonardo Sardiña, Head of the Film Department of Canal Sur, will be present and we will be presenting the film Paco Ortiz, José Carlos de Isla, director and producer of the documentary.
