Juana Román studied statistics and went to the United Kingdom to perfect her English. On her return she decided to approach the world of design, specialising in hand carving with a burin for jewellery, perhaps inherited from the lathe in her father's carpentry workshop. After a professional retirement in which she devoted herself to her two daughters, she reconsidered her professional career and at the age of forty she created the company Andoliando with the intention of combining her vocation for knitting and her family responsibility, managing to rekindle her passion for design through knitting. https://www.andoliando.com/
He currently gives numerous courses in three different places in the city of Seville with a multitude of followers who ask him for advice and follow his patterns. Among these workshops, Juan Roman will give two free sessions at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo.
Participants should bring a number 10 crochet hook and a skein of Katia big ribbon preferably. The courses are open to both beginners and more experienced knitters.
This activity is part of the INTREPIDA project (Internationalisation of Women Entrepreneurs in Spain and Portugal through Integration, Development and Partnerships), aimed at promoting the internationalisation of companies managed by women in the regions of Andalusia, Algarve and Alentejo.
