Portuguese workshops and good cinema to celebrate the Spain-Portugal neighbourhood
May 5th is World Portuguese Language and Lusophone Cultures Day, officially recognised by UNESCO. Through the INTREPIDA pro project, we invite you to explore the rich linguistic plurality of Europe, focusing this time on Portuguese as a foreign language. To this end, we are organising fun workshops where you can practice a language spoken by over two hundred million people worldwide. This INTREPIDA event will be led by Yolanda Camarada, who will be in charge of the in-person workshops, and Lusoquê? in the online format.
Following the workshops, we will enjoy a co-production between Spain and Portugal with the film ‘Uma Quinta Portuguesa’ (2025) directed by Avelina Prat, featuring a carefully selected cast from both countries and the presence of the director.
The INTREPIDA pro project belongs to the Interreg Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) programme and receives European funding.
