The Fundación Tres Culturas is once again promoting the presence of Portuguese and Spanish firms at the Seville fashion week CODE'41 thanks to the INTREPIDA plus project, a cross-border cooperation initiative between Spain and Portugal dedicated to the internationalisation of companies managed by women in both countries.
This edition will be attended by the Portuguese designer Lourdes Silva, who will show the designs of her business proposal, Bioco Tradition, for the first time in Spain.
His firm manufactures all its garments in Portugal, taking as inspiration a typically Portuguese piece of clothing called bioco. It is a hooded cape for women that was banned in the 19th century because it allowed women to go unnoticed under its wide shape.
Their innovative interpretation of this traditional press can be enjoyed in a parade on Sunday 24 October at 7 p.m. at the emblematic Puerta de Sevilla in the town of Carmona.
Free access to the parade by invitation at THIS LINK.
