With this initiative, the Fundación Tres Culturas wishes to propose a reflection on the cultural identity of the citizens who live in our cities.
Thus, the works submitted must allude to and have cultural diversity as a central theme, showing areas of interest, traditions, customs, art, folklore, gastronomy, etc., belonging to any part of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. They must also contribute to raising public awareness of the value of coexistence between cultures.
The celebration of the 'World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development' on 21 May, since the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2001, is one of the best arguments to reinforce the commitment of the Fundación Tres Culturas to the importance of cultural diversity, understood as a path of understanding, dialogue and respect between peoples.
