On 23 October, the Fundación Tres Culturas and Extenda-Andalusian Agency for Promotion Abroad will launch a new training programme, the course Business culture in the Gulf States, which will be developed through the Foundation's on-line training platform.
This course will provide the necessary knowledge to understand the reality of the Arabian Peninsula in relation to the rest of the Arab world, not only at an economic or business level, but also in terms of the physical environment, culture, recent history and the current situation of the countries that make up the Arabian Peninsula.
It is necessary to be aware of the cultural variety that exists in the Arab world and of the features that define the different communities that inhabit it, as well as the main social problems that affect them. These aspects are fundamental to understanding our potential trade partners and human resources in these countries. As well as the fundamental differences between the three major regions into which the Arab world is divided (the Maghreb, the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula) as a preliminary to understanding the circumstances that affect each of them and the relations between countries.
The course is mainly aimed at businessmen who intend to establish themselves in an Arab country with the aim of projecting their business activity abroad, as well as at professionals who live in these countries or intend to do so in the future and who wish to broaden their knowledge of the environment in which they operate, either for personal interest or because the knowledge to be acquired will be useful in the performance of their work duties. And, of course, to all those who are interested for any other reason in the Arab world in general and in this area in particular.
This training itinerary is part of the agreement signed between both entities with the aim of facilitating cooperation for the development of training actions in internationalisation, aimed at facilitating the personal and professional training of people interested in a better knowledge of the economic and business fabric, cultures and languages of these markets.
