The Fundación Tres Culturas, in collaboration with Loyola University, is organising this course, whose main objective is to provide the necessary keys to understand the current reality of the Arab world. Therefore, history and language are the two fundamental axes on which the course is based. Linked to them, cultural themes such as religious manifestations, literature and daily life will also be dealt with transversally, all subject to the time available, but always with the idea of providing the most complete overview possible.
Reading material and other resources (links to websites and videos) will be provided so that students can complete on their own what they do not have time to teach in the classroom. This eventuality derives from the participatory approach that is intended to be given to the course, encouraging individual and group reflection in order to arouse the student's permanent interest in the topics addressed, once the course is over.
