Once again, the Three Cultures Foundation is collaborating with the Summer Courses of the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), on this occasion with a summer programme that includes highly topical and thematic variety, comprising contents that have been very popular in previous editions and others that will focus on various geopolitical variables of special interest in the Maghreb.

The Santa María de la Rábida Campus in Huelva will be the venue for the III Workshop on cultural management and developmentStrategies in a crisis context, directed by Virginia Luque Gallegos, member of the Network of Experts in Cultural Heritage, which will take place from 20 to 24 July 2015.

This practical workshop, following the success of previous editions, will analyse the role of culture and cultural industries as a driver of development in cooperation in a context of deep recession, updating content and taking as a reference different Spanish-Moroccan experiences. Issues such as sustainability and social economy, creativity, new methodologies, regeneration sources, crowdfunding, collaborative management, networks or marketing 2.0 will be addressed throughout the different thematic blocks that make up this training action.

In September, Tres Culturas will host different courses in which we will take an interdisciplinary approach to the Arab world. Two courses will take place in the same weekThe Maghreb in a global world: a multidisciplinary approachThe event will take place from 15 to 16 September and will be directed by Miguel Ángel Ballesteros Martín, Director of the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies. And, subsequently Protocol and the Arab World from 17 to 18 September 2015, by José Carlos Cabrera Medina, Arabist and intercultural mediator.

To conclude our collaboration in the framework of the Summer Courses 2015, Tres Culturas will host for the second consecutive year, the course The keys to entrepreneurshipdirected by Ignacio Martínez García, executive vice-president of the Persán Foundation. This course, which will run from 21 to 25 September, aims to provide students with basic notions on how to establish a business model, how to make a marketing plan, how to make a financial plan, with costs and investments, and what legal, tax and labour issues affect them.
