Mediterranean Day: uniting for peace and diversity through music

Details

  • Date: 28 November 2024
  • Time:
    20:30 - 21:30

Within the framework of the call launched by the Anna Lindh Foundation 'Sounds that Connect. The Day of the Mediterranean', the Fundación Tres Culturas has presented as its proposal the show entitled Velvet.

This show, an original work by the guitarist José Manuel Tudela, brings together renowned musicians such as the flamenco singer Vicente Gelo, the Moroccan violinist Hamid Ajbar and the Serbian percussionist Andrej Vujicic, accompanied by the flamenco dance of Lola Jaramillo, to perform together a journey through themes that evoke the three cultures.

This concert will take place on the day when different public and private institutions from all over the Mediterranean basin will use music as a link to highlight the importance of peaceful coexistence in a geographical area characterised by the richness of its diversity.

The activity is financed by European Funds and with the essential collaboration of the Seville City Council.

Free activity with prior registration at THIS LINK.
