The Fundación Tres Culturas and the Kalandraka publishing house, in collaboration with the Rayuela bookshop, are organising a meeting with the teacher and poet Antonio Rubio, in which he will present his work Puer poeticus (Kalandraka, 2023), an approach to the traditional children's songbook to initiate the reading itinerary and facilitate access to new poetic experiences, with beautiful illustrations by Concha Pasamar. We will also have the special participation of Belén Sáenz (music and voice).
The Traditional Children's Songbook is the poetic corpus that children, puer poeticus, make use of in their daily work, play. This songbook, ordered and structured, is used by Antonio Rubio to bring us closer to and explain this essay, especially oriented so that mediators, librarians, booksellers and educators can enjoy our rich oral tradition with the youngest children.
