The Festival del Sur-Encuentro teatral Tres Continentes (Agüimes) organises every year, as part of its programme of parallel activities, a meeting between writers from the three continents represented in the festival: Africa, Europe and America.
The Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo has been collaborating for years with this festival, sponsoring the presence of one of the authors of this table. In this year's edition, with the collaboration of the Moroccan Ministry in charge of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs, Tres Culturas is taking part on Friday, 20 October with the Moroccan writer Abderrahman El Fathithe country's most representative author in the Spanish language. Annie Ferret (France) and Clara Obligado (Argentina) will participate alongside El Fathi, head of the Spanish department at the University of Tetouan.

This year, on Saturday 21 October, the Festival will also pay tribute to the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo with the presentation of the Cuchillo canario (Canary Island Knife) for its work to make culture an instrument of peace and understanding between peoples.
